Author Guidelines

Submissions in the form of extended abstracts, short papers, and full manuscripts are welcome. Authors are encouraged to submit original and unpublished research work that aligns with the conference scope.

Types of Submissions:

1. Extended Abstracts:
   • Should be approximately 500 words.
   • Must clearly outline the objectives, scope, and preliminary results (if available) of the research.
   • Figures and tables are not allowed.
2. Short Papers:
   • Must contain a minimum of four pages.
   • Should include an abstract, introduction, results/discussion, and references.
3. Full Papers:
   • Limited to a maximum of 15pages.
   • Should be a comprehensive presentation of research including sections such as methodology, results, discussions, and conclusions.

All submissions should be formatted using the official conference template provided.

Paper Submission Process

• Papers should be prepared in English and must be carefully proofread for grammatical accuracy.
• All figures should be of high quality and properly labeled.
• Each submission will undergo a peer-review process by the Scientific Committee.
• Authors will be notified of the review outcome via email and must incorporate suggested revisions before the final submission.
• All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN reference.
• The online proceedings will also be published with an ISSN reference
• All registered papers will be considered for publication in peer-reviewed journals, indexed in ResearchGate, Google Scholar, Zenodo, and DOAJ.
• Conference proceedings will be permanently archived in Zenodo and OpenAIRE.

Authors must submit their papers via email to icmi.editor@gmail.com.

Paper Presentation

• Each accepted paper can be presented by one or more authors.
• Oral Presentations:
  • Virtual presentations: Limited to 10 minutes.
• Poster Presentations:
  • Posters must be 90 cm height × 70 cm width.
  • Authors should ensure their posters are properly displayed at the conference venue.

Registration Requirement

• At least one author must register and pay the conference fee before the Regular Registration deadline for the paper to be included in the final program and proceedings.

Best Paper Awards

• The Best Paper Awards will be given to the highest-rated papers based on the peer-review process and session chair evaluations.
• Winners will receive a certificate and a 25% discount on registration for the next edition of the conference.
• Award-winning papers will be eligible for free publication in selected peer-reviewed journals, subject to a second round of peer review.

Copyright and Final Submission

• The corresponding author of each accepted paper must complete and sign a Copyright Form.
• Failure to submit the signed Copyright Form before the deadline will result in the removal of the paper from the proceedings.
