📢 Notices

IJCE follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of every published article. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts without knowledge of author identity, and authors do not learn reviewer identities.

  1. Initial editorial screening

Upon submission, the editorial team reviews the manuscript for scope fit, formatting compliance, and originality (via plagiarism-detection software, typically capped at a 15–20% similarity threshold).

  2. Reviewer assignment

Manuscripts passing initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject-matter expertise.

  3. Double-blind review

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript's originality, methodology, significance, clarity, and contribution to the field, typically within 3–6 weeks.

  4. Editorial decision

Based on reviewer feedback, the editor renders one of four decisions: accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject.

  5. Revision & resubmission

Authors asked to revise their manuscript typically have 2–4 weeks to respond to reviewer comments and resubmit.

  6. Final decision & publication

Once accepted, the manuscript proceeds to copyediting and is scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue.

📝 Minor Revisions

Small changes are needed before acceptance; no further review round required.

🔁 Major Revisions

❌ Reject

The manuscript does not meet the journal's standards or scope for publication.
